The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine is creating a Climate Action Plan (CAP) to guide how we reduce greenhouse gas emissions, prepare for climate-related risks, and strengthen community resilience across the region.
This plan will reflect the voices of people across the region, including local governments, First Nations, and residents, and will be grounded in our geography, economy, and governance.
Pinna Sustainability have been engaged as consultants to assist with developing the CAP.
Your input matters. By sharing your experiences with climate change, local hazards, like wildfires and flooding, and how prepared you feel for future climate impacts, you’ll help ensure the plan responds to the impacts that communities are facing. The survey will also help us set meaningful goals and identify practical actions that will work for our region.
This is your opportunity to shape a plan that supports sustainable development and aligns with provincial and federal climate goals, while staying rooted in local priorities.
All responses are anonymous. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is open until November 17, 2025.
